Thailand Travelogue

(28 min) The film is a montage of images, like a string of vignettes; chaotic, dirty, playful, exhilarating... all these feelings are embedded into the film as a feeble attempt to bring the viewer in closer contact with the experience I had in Thailand.

These are the completed works of Peter Parker. Rangeing in style, these videos were created with no budget, on my free time and with the great support of my friends and family. Thank You Mom, Dad, Jeremy, Jacqui, Riley Murphy, James Watts, Gaian Mind and PEX.
Enjoy, I made them for you.

I have been making short films for the last eight years. Starting back when I was the videographer for high school wrestling (wow.) The shorts became more complex once I began to study film at the University of the Arts. It was there that I moved in the direction of motion graphics to create a hybrid style fusing visually stimulating imagery with an emotionally charged soundtrack to deliver a gripping punch of emotion filled with Fear and Love.

I am most proud of 'Thailand Travelogue.' My experience there was psychedelic, opening me to a new way of experiencing people and places. The film is a montage of images, like a string of vignettes; chaotic, dirty, playful, exhilarating... all these feelings are embedded into the film as a feeble attempt to bring the viewer in closer contact with the experience I had in Thailand.
