Location: At the corner of 40th and Locust look up Locust, between Buck’s Coffee and the theater. You have found the Chimneys.

Rock: Brick and concrete

Type of Climb: Bouldering at street level

Description: Chimneys, crimps, offwidth maneuvering and a grand traverse. Perfect for an active UPenn student to take a break from drooling over text books. Accepting crowd of student onlookers, slightly less confused then the Inner City pedestrian.

Set Routes:
-”Chimney Traverse” V4 (get into the chimney and traverse either left or right. Cruxing around white columns, try no-foot while crimping above gated window. FA Peter Parker Jan ‘05)
