Camp Bisco X
Parkerism returned to Camp Bisco X with the Philadelphia Experiment. We setup our performance area next to the main stage so as the big acts like Bassnecter, Disco Biscuits and Shpongle wrapped up, we took the 22,000 attendees deep into the night with House DJ’s, Fire Canons, Mapped Video Projections and Fire Performers.
These projections screens were based on a design by Josef Albers from the late 60′s. I hired two fabricators, John Howwel and Chris Alferman to weld the screens out of aluminum and design a system so that the screens can be setup with a 2 inch or 12 inch gap between the panels.
I then created custom 3D video content and mapped it to the screens shape, creating the illusion of the screens being distorted.
