Martha Stewart’s American Made

When Martha Stewart came to The Guild to launch her new brand, American Made, the sky was the limit. We settled on Vanderbilt Hall in Grand Central Terminal for the venue and brought to life the essence of her brand for a 3 day event. Packed with workshops, lectures, food preparation, crafts and installations, it was one of the largest events The Guild has done to date. Matt Tarosky and I worked closely with Martha Stewart and her Creative Officers to create 35 foot projection columns which exemplified “Martha Stewart: American Made” as a newly formed brand. Hennessy National Tour

With The Guild, we did a four city national tour in 2012. With large scale production and big headliners we hit New York, L.A., Chicago and Miami. I created two video installation for each event. One was a custom built mulch-surfaced steel and wood projection sculptor which The guild built in their shop. I created original smoke filled, sexy video content as you will see below. The other Installation was three rows of White painted Hennessy bottles that I projected onto with original filmed content of an actual Hennessy bottle spinning on a turntable. Enjoy! I had a blast and am looking forward to the 2013 tour! Big thanks to Jeff...

Dior VIII Launch

This is the video installation I designed with The Guild for the Dior VIII watch launch in Soho. The Guild is a design + build studio and did a great job managing and installing all aspects of the event. These gigs are such a pleasure and I owe that pleasure to the staff, designers and project managers at The Guild; Jeff Hatfield, Peter Brown, Matt Tarosky, Kim Wolf and all the fabricators in the shop. Most of the video content was created in Paris, except for the sparkling comets of dust, which I created in After Effects using Trapcode Particular. The Guild draped the entire building in black fabric. My job was to map three 10k video...

Google Wallet Launch

Documentation of the Video Mapping I did for The Guild who was hired by R/GA to build a 90ft custom 3d stage for the Google Wallet launch event. We used 5x 10k lumen HD projectors to project my 2D and 3D mapped animations at a resolution of 9600 x 1080 pixels from a single 12-core Mac Pro. This project was the first time I was able to create 3D motion graphics for a large scale installation. This was accomplished by working closely with Art Director and CAD Designer, Matt Tarosky, from The Guild. Using his 3D CAD files we were able animate the wall in 3D, render it out and then map it to the curved design of the Google Wallet Wall to give...
